Press Conference Information: This in-person event will be held on Friday, April 28, at 11 am at the San Diego Police Officers Association’s (S.D.P.O.A.) offices located at 8388 Vickers St., San Diego, CA 92111. Free parking is available onsite. PERK representatives, attorneys, and plaintiffs will be available to speak on the record about PERK’s legal victory in English and Spanish until 1 pm. Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids: PERK is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose mission is to advocate for medical freedom, bodily autonomy, children’s rights, parental rights, and civil rights and protecting children’s right to an education. PERK has tens of thousands of members throughout California, consisting of parents of children attending school in California, public employees, first responders, and concerned citizens. PERK originally filed this complaint against the City of San Diego, in addition to its other lawsuits against Los Angeles County, Granada Hills Charter, The City of Beverly Hills, Conejo Valley School District, among others.
