Man Arrested in Loma Linda For Bank Robbery

Loma Linda, CA –  A bank robbery occurred at Citi Bank located at 25487 Barton Road in Loma Linda, California, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 3:47 p.m. The suspect has been identified as Scott Malosh, a 59-year-old unhoused male resident of Loma Linda.

Malosh entered the bank and reportedly claimed to have a firearm, demanding money from the bank employees. After receiving the money, he fled the scene on foot. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBSD) deputies were notified of the robbery and were on the scene within minutes of the crime.

Deputies quickly apprehended Malosh as he fled the bank on foot. He was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center. Malosh is currently in custody on a $60,000 bail.
