Roseville police recently arrested two individuals in connection to an alleged theft, according to a department press release posted to Facebook.

On February 4th, 2023, officers were called to the scene of an alleged theft at a retailer located on the 6000 block of Stanford Ranch Road. According an employee at the business, the suspects fled in a vehicle with a tinted plate. The officers managed to locate the vehicle and conducted a stop on eastbound I-80.

Officers reportedly discovered stolen property inside the vehicle, and that the vehicle was equipped with a device that could conceal the license plate with the use of a remote control.

The occupants of the vehicle — 26-year-old Jessica Taylor and 28-year-old Joseph Xepoleas — were then taken into police custody.

Both were arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with Xepoleas also facing a charge of drug sales.

Both individuals were booked at the South Placer County Jail.
