Wanted Suspect Arrested in Connection to Merced County Double Homicide

Authorities in Merced County have announced the arrest of a wanted suspect in connection to a recent homicide.

The county Sheriff’s Office stated in a press release that 40-year-old Victor Bazan was wanted as the primary suspect in a homicide in Hilmar on January 10. Deputies had responded to the 19000 block of American Avenue, where they discovered two homicide victims.

The suspect was soon identified as Bazan.

Bazan, whom the Sheriff’s Office says was known to frequent the Modesto, Ceres, and Turlock areas, was ultimately located and arrested by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
