“In September of this year, the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office began investigating a case regarding sexual abuse of a minor which occurred when the victim was between the ages of 3 to 8 years old. The assaults took place at the victim’s home while their parents were at work and were in the care of a family member. The suspect was identified as Jose Alfredo Boj Saquic, a resident in Big Sur, CA for the past 12 years. This week, detectives arrested Boj Saquic at his place of employment in Big Sur without incident. Boj Saquic was booked into the Monterey County Jail on numerous sexual assault charges, and his bail was set at $40,000,000.00.
