“Redding Police Officer Jacob Ruiz contacted convicted felon James Jackson, 62 years of Montgomery Creek. Officer Ruiz saw drug paraphernalia in Jackson’s vehicle. A subsequent search revealed a semi automatic rifle, ammunition and heroin. Jackson was arrested and booked into the Shasta county jail for being a felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of an assault weapon and possession of narcotics.”
