Santa Rosa Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

“On 08/10/22 at 4:52 pm, SRPD Dispatch received a call that the Chase Bank, located at 760 Stony Point Road had just been robbed. The employees advised that a female with blond hair, wearing a black mesh coat, pink top and pink shorts passed a note demanding money. Cash was given to the suspect. Prior to leaving the bank, the suspect took two Chase Bank water bottles.

Officers responded to the scene and quickly located a female matching the description walking north on Stony Point Road near Occidental Road. An officer gave her commands to stop which she ignored. A short struggle ensued, and she was taken into custody. The cash, the note, and the water bottles were all still in her possession at the time of her arrest.

The suspect was identified as Sherilyn Hollingworth, a 28-year-old Santa Rosa resident. Hollingworth was booked at the Sonoma County Jail for 211 PC, Robbery.
