Fresno PD opens investigation into murder of Angel Huerta, seeks help from public

Fresno PD has announced an investigation into the recent murder of 28-year-old Angel Huerta.

Huerta was found on the morning of Thursday, July 21, suffering from a stab wound in the area of Fifth and Olive. He later died of his injury at an area medical center, police said.

Investigators are actively seeking surveillance video from the area, as well as calling on the public for assistance. Anyone with information relevant to the case is highly encouraged to contact Detective Montoya at 559-621-2449 or Detective Alvarez at 559-621-2441.
