Monterey County man accused of driving RV drunk, striking pedestrian, bicyclist, and cars

“On June 20, 2022, at about 3pm, officers responded to the report of an RV driving recklessly, hitting a pedestrian, a bicyclist, and multiple vehicles, and not stopping.

Officers were quickly on scene and located the RV still driving erratically and, due to the danger the driver posed to the public, they engaged in a short pursuit. The driver stopped in the area of Pico and Asilomar, and officers were able to place him under arrest without further incident.

The driver, Christian Aleman Medina of Gilroy, was transported to Monterey County Jail on charges of Felony DUI, Felony Hit-and-Run with Injury, multiple Misdemeanor Hit-and-Runs, Felony Evading a Peace Officer, and Driving with a Suspended License Due to DUI.”
