FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN THE JAN. 13, 2022 HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

“At approximately 6:29 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call from a subject inside a business on the 6900 block of Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento County. The caller stated they heard gunshots and they believed someone had been shot inside a vehicle. The caller then stated that the vehicle containing the victim was driven away from the scene.

Upon arrival, deputies found evidence that a shooting had occurred but no victims or victim vehicle was on scene.

Homicide detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene and are actively interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. No further information or suspect information is available at this time.

The identity of the victim in this case will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.”

Homicide Detectives from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office identified Kenneth Adam White (19), Carlos Vasquez (34), Jesus Manuel Perez (18) of Alameda County, and Alize Dnae Trask (21) of Sacramento County as the suspects in the January 13, 2022 homicide of Alynia Lawrence (17).

White and Vasquez were arrested in Oakland, CA, and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for murder. Perez, also arrested in Oakland, and Trask, arrested in Pinole, CA, were booked for conspiracy charges. Investigators believe the victim was an innocent bystander and was not the intended target of the shooting. No suspects are outstanding in this case. No booking photos or further information is available at this time.”
