Originally published as a Yolo County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post – 

“On April 5, 2022 at 9:36 in the morning, Yolo County Sheriff Deputies responded to a suspicious circumstance on Erma Lane in Davis.

Upon arrival, Deputies were assisted by the Davis Police Department and contacted a subject holding a knife and loaded shotgun at the front door.

The Deputies were able to de-escalate the situation and safely place the subject into custody. During the investigation, it was determined that 31-year-old, Aaron Valle, from Davis, fired his shotgun several times in his home.

It was also discovered that some of the shotgun pellets had penetrated into a neighboring residence.

Aaron Valle was arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, and negligent discharge of a firearm. We would like to thank the Davis Police Department and West Sacramento Police for their assistance.”
