Santa Ana man suspected of molesting juvenile female relative; additional victims sought

A 51-year-old Santa Ana man has been arrested for molesting a 17-year-old female relative.  Police believe there may be additional victims.

The suspect, identified as Alejandro Heredia-Santana, is accused of “having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old family member,” according to the Santa Ana Police Department press release.  He was arrested on March 3rd on several charges relating to sexual assault.

“Shortly after police were notified, the victim ran away from home and went to live with Heredia-Santana,” continues the release.  “Detectives located the victim as she was still attending school and safely returned her to her mother.”

Heredia-Santana was apprehended when he came to the school to pick up the victim.  He was booked at Orange County Jail but released after posting his $50,000 bail.
