Watsonville Police announce two arrests in connection to the alleged sales of fentanyl

Watsonville police have announced two arrests in connection to the alleged sales of fentanyl.

26-year-old Alberto Galvan and 24-year-old Joscelyn Torres-Leon were both taken into custody following the serving of search warrants in the areas of Brewington Avenue and Bent Tree Court.

Agents reportedly seized over three dozen fentanyl pills and an illegally possessed gun. Galvan is also an active gang member and currently on parole, police said.

Both were ultimately arrested on charges of possession of fentanyl for sale.
