“This suspect burglar broke into Holy Cross School, stole multiple items, and ransacked a classroom on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, around 5:00 am. SCPD identified the suspect as Robert Negron, 55 years old, from Santa Cruz. All working patrol Officers were on the hunt to track down the suspect and the associated van.

About Robert Negron’s status with the Law & Courts: He had 7 outstanding warrants for his arrest. Additionally, Mr. Negron was on pretrial release with an ankle monitor, which he cut off sometime in April of 2021.

Today 6/03/2021, at approximately 5:45 am, as Sgt Hoppe’s graveyard patrol team was wrapping up their shift, they located the van and arrested Mr. Negron in the area of Laurel Street and Front Street.”
