Fairfield police have arrested two people and confiscated several guns amid an investigation into the illegal sales of firearms.

Earlier this year, Fairfield PD’s Special Operations Team began investigating reports of firearms being illegally sold out of a home on Santa Cruz Drive.

On October 6, SWAT served a search warrant for the property, detaining several people and ultimately locating six illegally possessed guns, various gun components, molds used in the manufacturing of handguns, ammo, and suspected methamphetamine.

Of the people detained, 40-year-old Eric Brown and 49-year-old Sandor Sklar were arrested and booked at the Solano County jail on numerous felony charges.
