Man shoots at vehicle seven times

“On August 2nd at 12:20 a.m., the Placer County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a victim who had been shot at while in his vehicle.

The victim and his passenger were approaching a residence on Quinn Place in Loomis when an unknown suspect shot at their car seven times.

Two of the bullets hit the windshield, narrowly missing the occupants. Deputies responded to the area and began interviewing the victims and witnesses.

While deputies were still on scene, the suspect vehicle drove by. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified its occupants. Investigators identified one of the occupants, 22-year old Isaac Blagg of Rocklin, as the shooter.

Detectives recovered a firearm at the residence believed to be the one used in the shooting.

Blagg was arrested for discharging a firearm at an occupied vehicle, delaying a peace officer and violating his post-release community supervision.”
