GRANITE BAY // Placer County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a 20-year-old North Highlands man after discovering he was wanted for multiple criminal charges out of Washington State.

On January 19th, a deputy on patrol in the area of Seeno Avenue noticed Justin Hale going door-to-door, allegedly collecting subscriber information for an energy company based out of Texas. The deputy spoke with Hale and asked to see his peddler permit, a requirement for anyone conducting door-to-door sales per the Placer County Code and which Hale was unable to provide.

A records check then revealed that Hale was wanted in Washington for kidnapping and failure to register as a sex offender. He was arrested and booked at the South Placer Jail, where he is awaiting extradition to Washington.
