ARREST MADE IN HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION ON AMBER LANE

“The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested Patrick Lavell Noied (20) for the May 5, 2021 shooting death of 29-year-old, Tayler Jon Wellman. Noied was arrested on June 23, 2021 and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide charges and is being held without bail. Patrick Noied will be in court Thursday, June 24, 2021. No additional information is available at this time.

At approximately 10:43 p.m. on Wednesday, May 05, 2021, the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call regarding a subject who had collapsed near the 4800 block of Amber Lane and College Oak Drive in Sacramento County. The caller advised that the subject appeared to be bleeding.

Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male who sustained at least one gunshot wound. Deputies attempted life-saving measures, however, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding personnel from Sacramento Metro Fire.

Homicide detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence. No further information or suspect information is available at this time.”
