An El Dorado County man is suspected in multiple incidents of alleged peeping after being arrested on a separate offense, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation began in January this year when the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible stalking case on the 3000 block of Oxford Road in Cameron Park. Surveillance footage shared on Facebook led to others coming forward with reports of similar events, which in turn led to more videos being shared of the same subject at multiple residences.

Then, on March 25, 30-year-old Darren Duncan of Cameron Park was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. While being questioned at the Sheriff’s Office, investigators noted that a tattoo on Duncan’s arm matched one seen on the subject in one of the videos.

Duncan now faces three charges of peeping, in addition to the felony warrant.
