“On Jan. 25, 2021, at about 9 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received information that wanted attempted murder suspect Byron Dean Titus Jr., age 29 of Hoopa, was outside a business on the 3300 block of Broadway Street in Eureka.

Deputies contacted Titus outside the business, and he was taken into custody without incident. Titus was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of attempted murder (PC 664/187(A)), felon in possession of a firearm (PC 29800(A)(1)), exhibiting a firearm (PC 417(A)(2)) and parole revocation (PC 3000.08(F)).
