“A woman accused of slashing a man’s face on Sunday night has been arrested on several felony charges.

At about 6:30 p.m., officers met with the victim in the emergency room. The victim told officers he was attacked on the 100 block of West Beach Street by a woman he knew. The 35-year-old man identified Dalilah Yasin, 41, as the suspect. Officers arrested her four hours later when they spotted her driving home.

Following her arrest, Detectives served a search warrant at Yasin’s home where they located evidence and the knife she used during the attack. Yasin was booked into jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, mayhem, and committing a felony while released on bail.

A judge set her bail at $150,000 for her new charges. As mentioned, she was out on bail pending court for a prior stabbing case in which WPD arrested her in August 2020. Yasin is currently in jail awaiting court.

Anyone with information for this case (21W-00304) is asked to contact Det. Nelson Hernandez at 831-768-3358.”
