Arrest of Armed-Felon Gang Member and His Co-Conspirator

COACHELLA – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Thermal Station has just announced the 01/21/2021 6:00 AM arrest conducted by the collaboration of Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). The team-up was a result of a 01/19/2021 assault incident at 6:40 PM on the 52-300
block of Oasis Palm Avenue in Coachella.

CCAT and SWAT “served a search warrant at a residence in the 43-500 block of Smurr Street in the city
of Indio.” said Sergeant Mariano Matos III. “During the search warrant service, the suspected weapons
used in the assault were located and seized.”

Adrian Singleterry (31) of Indio – a documented gang member and convicted felon – was arrested for
attempted homicide, felon in possession of a firearm, conspiracy to commit attempt homicide and a
California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Parole hold.

Also nabbed was April Singleterry (18) of Indio – for conspiracy to commit attempt homicide, aiding in a
felony after the fact, and for attempted homicide.

Both Adrian Singleterry and his young female co-conspirator were booked at the John Benoit Detention
Center in the city of Indio.
