“On Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 around 2:30 a.m., Officer Barker attempted to stop a vehicle at the intersection of Dover Ave. and E. Pacific, resulting in a short pursuit.
The driver, Justin Montgomery a 35 year-old Fairfield resident and an unknown passenger fled on foot. Officers cleared the vehicle and located a loaded 9mm semi-auto handgun.
Montgomery was last seen running through backyards on the 400 block of E. Alaska, toward Airbase PKWY.
A Solano County sheriff’s K-9 Unit was in the area and located Montgomery walking on E. Atlantic Ave.
Montgomery was positively identified and taken into custody by the Fairfield Police Department. Fairfield officers also located Montgomery’s wallet, California driver license and a loaded SCCY 9mm semi-auto handgun.”
