“On November 9th at about 12:30 PM an alert citizen notified the Lincoln Police Department of two suspicious men in a shopping center parking lot on Groveland Lane (they appeared to be “casing” vehicles).

A description of the men and their vehicle was provided. Officers arrived and contacted the men. Drug paraphernalia was visible inside the vehicle and the suspect in the driver’s seat, 23-year-old Dustin Lee of Antelope, was found to have an active felony warrant (violation of Post Release Community Supervision).

During a search of the vehicle officers located methamphetamine, heroin, a controlled substance, lock picking devices and debit cards belonging to other persons. Lee was arrested for the applicable charges and booked at the South Placer Jail where he was ineligible for bail. There was no evidence the passenger committed any crime.

Thank you to the alert citizen who reported their suspicious behavior!”
