San Francisco Police have announced an arrest in connection to the discovery and seizure of more than $100,000 in illegal drugs.

Narcotics Detail officers served search warrants on the 1500 block of Leavenworth Street and the 100 Block of Otis Street on Thursday, October 29, in connection to the ongoing investigation into the prevalence of hard drug sales on San Francisco streets.

At both locations, officers located and seized several plastic bags containing various suspected narcotics, all totaling about 6,998 grams of meth, 30 grams of ketamine, 5.4 grams of cocaine, 10.5 grams of MDMA, a gallon of GBL, Adderall pills, morphine pills, and nearly $23,000 in cash.

Police estimate the street value of the suspected meth to be about $70,000, and the value of all the seized drugs combined to be over $100,000.

The investigation also led to the arrest of 39-year-old Marc Avery Gersen, who was ultimately booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
