ANTIOCH — Two brothers are facing charges for a sexual assault and robbery at a parking lot near a fishing spot. Both suspects remain in custody in lieu of bond totaling $3.45 million.

Two armed men confronted a couple who were returning to a parking lot, after fishing in the San Joaquin River. This attack occurred at the foot of G Street on October 16 at 11:50 p.m.

The two attackers pistol whipped and robbed the man and woman at the Palms Parking Lot. Next, they forced the woman to perform oral sex before fleeing from the scene.

Minutes later, one of the suspects attempted to use a credit card stolen from one of the victims at an ATM. Security video recorded at the ATM and parking lot helped police identify him.

Kenry L. Young, 31 of Antioch, was arrested on October 22, at his residence a few blocks away from the crime scene. Evidence against him includes a DNA sample gathered from the parking lot.

His older brother, Lamar Young, 33 of Stockton, was subsequently identified as the second suspect. He was arrested in Stockton on October 29.

Antioch investigators were assisted by Stockton PD, Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, Serological Research Institute, and the FBI.

On November 2, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office filed four charges against both brothers - Aggravated assault with a firearm
 Robbery
 Sodomy by force
