Man Arrested for Joyriding on Stolen John Deere Tractor

On October 14, 2020, an adult male acting suspiciously near an agriculture equipment yard on Road 24 and Avenue 156 in Corcoran prompted a call to Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

When deputies arrived, they observed 29-year old Jaime Navarro of Lindsay driving a large John Deere
tractor down the road.

Investigation determined the tractor was reported stolen out of Tulare County.

Navarro, who is on parole after his released from custody for multiple felony violations, was arrested. He remains in custody at the Adult Pre-Trail Facility in Visalia facing possible charges for burglary during a state of emergency, grand theft of personal property, and violating his parole. His bail has been set at $50,000.
