The Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office reports a welcome “home” to one of their escaped incarcerated residents –

“We’ve missed you…

You may remember a post from not so long ago announcing that one of our prisoners at the Del Norte County Jail decided to take an early leave from custody.

We are happy to report that Mr. Thornley will be returning to Del Norte County with special thanks to the Medford, Oregon, US Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force and the Carson City Police Department.

He was reported to be wearing a wig and living under an alias, supported by what appeared to be valid state identification.

We are excited to see him return. It goes without saying he is no longer a candidate to be on a prisoner work crew.”
