Two Santa Ana men have been arrested for vehicular manslaughter after a street race led to the death of an unrelated driver.

A BMW and Infinity were racing each other northbound on Bristol Street in Santa Ana on Thursday, July 30, 2020.  As they approached Santa Clara Avenue, “a Ford truck was traveling south on Bristol St., making a left turn onto Santa Clara Ave. As the Ford made the left turn, it was struck by the BMW,” according to the release.  The collision caused one of the vehicles to be overturned.  “The Infinity fled the scene after the collision.”
