Kings County Sheriff’s Office announces arrest of murder suspect

The Kings County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a primary suspect in connection to the murder of Sam Carson.

On Friday, July 10, deputies responded to the 1800 block of Hardcastle Drive in Hanford, where they located a deceased male later identified as Carson.

Detectives soon identified 27-year-old Joseph Guzman as the primary suspect and issued a Ramey warrant for his arrest.

Guzman was arrested around 8:30 PM the next night, July 11, on the 600 block of Miller Street in Corcoran, and booked at the Kings County Jail on suspicion of murder.
