Man discharges a shotgun in the street during an argument; One arrested

The Vacaville Police Department recently arrested a man under the influence who was also firing a shotgun in the street –
“Shortly before midnight on Sunday evening, officers responded to the 300 block of Cascade Drive for a man firing a shotgun in the street.
The incident began earlier in the evening when the suspect, later identified as Mario Frutos-Velazques (49) of Fairfield was confronted in a backyard allegedly looking into a bedroom window.
Witnesses said the man left but threatened to return with a gun.
About an hour later, officers responded to a report of a man who was in the street shooting a shotgun.
Patrol officers observed the suspect driving away from the scene and safely took him into custody during a traffic stop on Elmira Road.
There were no reports of injuries or property damage. A stolen shotgun and handgun were found inside the vehicle.
Frutos-Valezques was booked into the Solano County Jail on multiple weapons charges and DUI.
