On the evening of November 17th, deputies from Team 1 conducted a traffic stop on a car that ran a stop sign near the intersection of Magazine and Laurel Streets.
The driver, 26-year-old Jeffrey Arreaga of San Rafael, told deputies that his driver’s license “might be suspended” and there was “cocaine” in his vehicle.
Deputies conducted a records check on Arreaga’s driver’s license status, and it was confirmed as suspended.
Based on probable cause, deputies searched Arreaga’s vehicle and located over 100 grams of suspected cocaine. Post investigation, deputies arrested Arreaga on drug and other related charges.
