The Placer County Sheriff’s Office offical Facebook page reports this interesting incident that occurred within their jurisdiction –
“An elderly couple in Granite Bay got quite the unsettling surprise, Saturday, when they found a man walking inside their home.
The residents confronted the suspect and quickly called 911 as they believed the man was “casing” their home.
When deputies arrived, they detained the suspect, 35-year old Scott Appleby, of Roseville.
Appleby was arrested for burglary and burglary of an inhabited dwelling.”
