El Dorado County deputies have arrested a burglary suspect who allegedly struck multiple patrol units with his own vehicle while evading arrest.

44-year-old Justin Ridenour of Placerville already had an active warrant for his arrest when deputies spotted him driving in Placerville and tried to pull him over.

Instead he led them on a pursuit through the Mosquito area, reportedly colliding with multiple patrol units in the process before ultimately fleeing on foot.

Soon after issuing a press release on the incident, which was this past Monday, March 23, deputies located and arrested Ridenour on suspicion of residential burglary, felony evading, and assault with a deadly weapon, along with his warrant.
