Suspect Caught Leaving Burglary Scene

The burglary alarm of a business on the 25900 block of Road 164 in Visalia blared on Sunday, March 1, 2020.

The suspect had taken a $1,500 pressure washer from the business, gaining access to it by cutting a hole in the perimeter fence. The reporting party witnessed a white Tahoe leave the scene of the burglary and took note of the license plate number before calling the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

The Tahoe was found in the parking lot of a motel on South K Street in Tulare.

The pressure washer was found inside the car, along with other suspected stolen property. 23-year old Christopher Norrod was identified at the registered owner of the vehicle. Deputies placed Norrod under arrest for grand theft, burglary, and possession of stolen property.
