The Chico Police Department recently arrested two car thieves near the Motel 6 according to their official Facebook page –
“While you were sleeping-
On 1-28-2020, just after midnight a CPD graveyard officer was patrolling the area of Motel 6 when he received an NCIC hit using the license plate reader on his patrol vehicle. The suspect vehicle returned stolen out of Sacramento. The two occupants of the vehicle were identified as 21-year-old Brittany Bolton (booking photo not available) and 34-year-old Eric Bluford. Bolton and Bluford are both from Sacramento.
-Bolton was arrested for vehicle theft as well as being in possession of a firearm.
-Bluford was on parole for carjacking, and was arrested for possession of a dirk or dagger and a parole violation.
Great work by graveyard officers! A stolen vehicle back to it’s owner and a firearm out of the hands of dangerous individuals.”
