Chico Police are calling on the public for assistance in locating a man with felony warrants who fled from an enforcement stop last week.

Just before midnight on February 23, a CHP radioed for assistance from Chico PD in an enforcement stop on the Highway 99 off-ramp at East Avenue.

The man provided responding officers with a false name, which they soon figured out. At that point, the man — whose real identity is 27-year-old Alex Cole Bundlie — locked his doors and fled the scene.

Officers pursued him along southbound 99 to the E. 1st Avenue exit, where the pursuit was ultimately terminated out of concern for public safety.

Police say Bundlie is wanted on felony warrants out of Paradise PD and Butte County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with knowledge of his potential whereabouts is encouraged to call Chico Police at 530-897-4911.
