Siskiyou Sheriff: Suspect arrested in murder of Spencer Hodgson

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to the murder of 31-year-old Spencer Richard Hodgson of Klamath River.

22-year-old Timothy Chase McDonald has been implicated in the death of Hodgson, who was found deceased on a rural road in the Klamath River area on April 8, 2019.

An autopsy conducted on April 10 revealed that he had died as the result of gunshot wounds.

Investigators were eventually able to recover McDonald’s missing pickup truck and also located a dog belonging to McDonald. The dog was placed in the care of his family members.
