A Sacramento man has been arrested on numerous charges following a traffic stop in the area of Mather Field Road and Highway 50.

On Friday, January 3rd, a Rancho Cordova police officer on patrol reportedly witnessed a vehicle commit numerous code violations, warranting a stop.

Police say the driver, later identified as 30-year-old Samuel Craig, didn’t have a driver’s license or ID in his possession.

He did, however, have a firearm in plain sight and, upon a search of his vehicle, also turned out to have a short-barreled shotgun, two loaded handguns, ammunition, narcotics, paraphernalia, metal knuckles, and over $2,800 in cash.

Craig has since been booked on numerous charges at the Sacramento County Main Jail.
