HANFORD – On January 8th at noon deputies from the Hanford County Sheriff’s Office came to Freeway 198 and 1 1/2 Avenue in response to a stabbing.
The victim had been stabbed in the back with a pair of pruning shears by his co-worker, 50-year-old Sergio Gonzalez DeLosSantos.
Apparently Sergio drank several 12-oz cans of Budweiser as well as some meth during the workday in the orchard.
Soon Sergio began hallucinating, yelling at the victim. It was then that the suspect stabbed his co-worker.
DeLosSantos was booked for assault with a deadly weapon and being under the influence of a controlled substance, with bail set at $30,000.
