Police arrest man suspected of stabbing three people at public library

Auburn Police have announced the arrest of a man suspected of stabbing three people at the Placer County Library off Nevada Street earlier this week.

33-year-old Opada Opada was arrested on two counts of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon yesterday, December 11.

The alleged attacks occurred the day before, December 10.

Opada is currently housed at the Placer County Jail. No other details have been released at this time.
