Threats made at Mountain Vista Middle School

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office sent out the following notice via their official Facebook page.

“On November 18, 2019 at approximately 6:30 AM, the Kelseyville Unified School District notified the Sheriff’s Office that a 13 year old male student of Mountain Vista Middle School had made threats to shoot up the school.

At approximately 7 AM deputies were able to make contact with the student at his residence prior to him getting on the school bus and took him into custody.

The student was not armed and deputies were able to determine that there was no further threat.

The student was transported to the Lake County Probation Department for processing.”
