Sexual battery suspect arrested in San Bruno

SAN BRUNO — Police have arrested a 38-year-old Fairfield man in connection to an alleged sexual battery incident earlier this week.

Just after 2:30 PM on Tuesday, August 13th, officers responded to the 1100 block of El Camino Real to investigate an altercation.

Upon arrival, they were told that a female victim had been assaulted by a male suspect who allegedly pressed himself up against her backside, but fled when she confronted him.

Police located the suspect — identified as 38 year old Leron Brown of Fairfield– nearby and took him into custody.

Brown was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on charges relating to sexual battery as well as an unrelated warrant.
