WEST SACRAMENTO – During the 4th of July celebrations, the West Sacramento Police Department responded to a commercial burglary at a local business.
Luckily the business had an alarm service, and a”glass break alert” came in to the alarm company shortly after 2am. The alarm company then contacted the WSPD, and officers responded to the scene of the crime.
Officers indeed saw the broken glass window, and also saw a male suspect inside of the business, “rummaging behind the counter.”
The WSPD was familiar with the suspect who was attempting to steal items and cash from the business. The unnamed suspect was “arrested and booked on vandalism and burglary charges.”
