CORCORAN – The man was walking out of an apartment with a backpack. It was 2:00 a.m. on May 29. Officers with the Corcoran Police Department arrived at the complex in the 1700 block of Dairy Avenue.
Transient Juan Hernandez carried a ,38 caliber revolver in his backpack. He also carried three active warrants for his arrest.
Hernandez was charged with possession of a concealed firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, as well as the warrants.
His bail is set at $125,000.
