DUNSMUIR – On Friday February 8th, Siskiyou County Sheriff deputies arrived at at home in the 5900 block of Dunsmuir Avenue with a search warrant in hand. They were looking for a burglary suspect who, they suspected, possessed “a significant amount of stolen property.”

At the home, they contacted and arrested 40-year-old Robby Graves. They also recovered “numerous items” that had been stolen.

The saga began on January 28th after a home in the 4100 block of Dunsmuir Avenue had been burglarized and many things stolen from it.

Deputies report that “later, some of the stolen items were located in a local business.”

Sheriff Jon Lopey said, “This was a good piece of old-fashioned police work and effective use of good, safe tactics on the part of all involved SCSO deputies, sergeants, and assisting CHP officers.”
