MERCED – What started as a simple vehicle stop, soon became a probation search. On Tuesday, January 29th three individuals found themselves under the scrutiny of the Merced Police Department after their vehicle was stopped by officers.

A search of the car revealed a handgun as well as ammunition.

From there, officers went to a home on the 2600 block of Antares Court.  At that location, they discovered another handgun and ammunition.

All three members of the trio are convicted felons. Thus, all three”are prohibited from possessing any firearms.”

27-year-old Dante Bolden, 27-year-old Jerome Bolden and 26-year-old Tevin Bolden were  charged with “weapons, drugs and gang enhancement charges.”
