Arrests in Two Recent Sacramento Homicides

SACRAMENTO – Two suspects have been arrested for their part in recent Sacramento area murders.

On October 24th,  the body of 35-year-old Chrishawn Pierce was discovered on the 4000 block of Ashgrove Way, in the bushes of a residence.  It was determined tha  was the victim of “a violent assault, which ultimately led to his death.”

On November 20th, 21-year-old Isaac Tillman was arrested and charged with murder in Pierce’s death. Tillman also faces a parole violation charge and is being held without bail.

On November 10th,  19-year-old Tyler Tabor was found shot dead at 4901 Little Oak Lane. The investigation that followed ultimately named 23-year-old Marcus Kendrix as the murder suspect.

In the meantime, Kendrix had fled to Maryland. He was arrested there in Charles County. The Sacrmaento County Sheriff Department press releases says, “He is currently in custody in Charles County, Maryland awaiting extradition to Sacramento, where he will be booked for murder and a violation of his parole.”
