CHICO – Uninvited guests crashed a party on the evening of October 4 and stabbed one of the party-goers before fleeing.

Realizing they could not enter the party, the group began sucker punching party goers and one member of the group stabbed a 21-year-old male in his upper leg.

The group left in a white Honda Civic and the victim, although he lost a lot of blood, went to the hospital for treatment.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m. the following night,  Chico Police Department officers spotted a vehicle that matched the description given by the victims the previous night.

The officers stopped the vehicle and its five occupants in the 100 block of Oak Street.  Officers brought witnesses, and the stabbing victim, to the scene and they identified one man as the attacker.

24-year-old Sacramento resident Amarion Lang was arrested for the attack. In addition, 20-year-old Sacramento resident Angelo Craver had a loaded .40 caliber pistol in his possession.  As a previously convicted felon, Craver was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
