STANDISH – These aren’t Christmas trees at a residence at 469-922 Eternal Springs. The LCSO and Lassen County Code Enforcement excuted a search warrant and discovered the illegal grove.
48-year-old Jeffrey Stuart Putney spoke to arriving officers, giving false information at first.
In the first place, investigators discovered 802 marijuana plants and 100 pounds of processed marijuana. Furthermore, the plants weighed 3,100 pounds.
Putney’s chrages after his arrest are for cultivation of marijuana and possession over an ounce.
In additon, other charges filed with the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office:
- 11366.5 H&S- Maintaining a residence for the unlawful manufacture, storage, or distribution of a controlled substance;
- 148.9 PC- Providing false information to a Peace Officer.
The press release then states that they released Putney “on a misdemeanor citation pursuant to Proposition 47.”
